Re: Video, Animation or films that remind you of GoaT?
I will have to check out the Redwall books. It's amazing how entertaining kids and young adult books can be to adults.

Re: Video, Animation or films that remind you of GoaT?
Admittedly I've never read the comic and it's still on my reading list, but the little I've seen of Mouse Guard makes me think of GoaT. Secret of Nimh is another, but I do remember being scared of it as a kid. It also kind of reminds me of An American Tale. Legend of Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole ...

Shroud of the Avatar has been a fun one to follow. They've included the community in monthly pre-alpha testing for a while now. I like seeing the progress from one build to another and all the work that actually goes into building a game. They're using Unity as well. I remember playing SWAT when it ...

Re: The finest game soundtracks... ever!
Speaking of Portal, I love this version of Still Alive . To me a good game without music is like watching a suspense/thriller with the sound off. It's just not as good. Good music helps with immersion and creates a more memorable experience. Bioshock Infinite had great art and music, even if the sto...

Re: The finest game soundtracks... ever!
Since I just recently finished Bioshock Infinite, it's the first that comes to mind. One of the musical highlights of the game is when the player goes through the memorial gardens and pieces of Mozart's Requiem plays when you enter each room. The piece playing lends itself to the feelings of each of...

I'm a sucker for an immersive story and fun gameplay. I grew up on the Sierra adventure games, so anything along those lines gets my vote. There's so many games that I remember fondly, so it's hard to list my greatest. Here's a few: Day of the Tentacle Ultima series Sierra "Quest" games Mo...

Re: Game launches that I'm really looking forward to
I'm not as up on new games as I used to be, mostly because I have quite a backlog to work through. These are the few that I am aware of and looking forward to. Ghost of a Tale (is it 2015 yet?) Shroud of the Avatar - Kickstarter game based on the old Ultima games and Ultima Online. New Mass Effect -...

Re: How Can I pre-order/support This game?
Has there been any update to this? I just found out about this amazing game today and would love to throw some money/support toward its development.
