I found the eyepatch and piratehat from the skeleton in the starting area, and then I died. After respawning at my last save I went back to the room to get the eyepatch and pirate hat again, but I am no longer able to pick up the pirate hat. The skeleton still sits in the cell and wears the hat, but...
