Hi Ebi,
You should be able to smash the jars directly in front of them to make them slip. Bear in mind that if the Rats are wearing greaves/boots then they are immune to the jars, so you'd be better off throwing bottles at them.

We currently don't have any plans for a physical release of the game, though if the game does well as a digital release there's always a chance that there might be a disc version in the distant future. It would probably have to be a very different game, with a different art style and controls. It's not something we're considering for the foreseeable future, but who knows...

Hi Eprieur, We would say that the early access release represents around a quarter to a third of the final game, in terms of quests and locations. The game mechanics themselves (what Tilo can do, interactions etc.) are much closer to being complete in early access. So, it should give you a good idea...

Sorry, you're quite right, and I was mistaken. The lantern is a unique object, and so can't be put down. We're discussing other possible solutions to this issue, as switching back and forth between the stick and lantern is not an ideal situation.

There are definitely mechanics in the game right now that don't get fully utilized (using the candles to set things alight, for example)...

Ah, interesting! We've had a few suggestions of ways that players would like to be able to see the world in more detail.
