Re: Obscure horror movies
Today I was thinking about a movie I saw, say, 15 years ago... It was about a serial killer that killed his victims in their dreams, if I remember correctly. No, it wasn't any of the Nightmare serie - this similarity is unfortunate, because googling for it produces endless results related to Freddy!...

Re: GoaT included in '20 Indie Must Play Games in 2015'
If I remember correctly, back in 2001 I was able to put some graphics on the TV screen with Yabasic. However, I was already programming in C on a PC, so I didn't bother to really learn that much about that language. In the end, if someone wants to program games in an "old-school" way, they...

In the 90's Sony sold a special development PlayStation targeting amateur coders: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Net_Yaroze PS2 disc included this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yabasic As far as I know, a "dead" console that from time to time sees a bunch of new "underground" title...

Re: Game launches that I'm really looking forward to
I'm waiting for GOAT and Dungeon Kingdom . It's been a while since an AAA title caught my attention. Maybe I'm going to take a look at Doom 4, however I don't expect it to be anything less than terribly disappointing. By the way: I'm a peaceful man, however I don't see anything wrong in playing shoo...

However, I think that the rat monkey should really be a "dragon rat", just to preserve the fantasy thing.

Re: The finest game soundtracks... ever!
The original Tomb Raider has what is probably the best good-tracks-to-total-tracks ratio in the entire gaming history.
Its successors aren't that good, however TRIII has some evocative moments as well...

Obscure horror movies
Dear fellow rats, :P I like underrated horror movies... My favourites are: God Told Me To American Gothic * Prince of Darkness (arguably not that obscure) Dark Heritage What are your favourite, obscure horror movies? * The omonimous painting is my favourite painting - that and The White Duck

Re: The finest game soundtracks... ever!
I like the works of Aubrey Hodges and Sonic Mayhem - mainly their contributions to the Doom and Quake series, respectively. The original Resident Evil has a superb soundtrack. Apocalypse has a nice soundtrack, too. An old, unsuccessful RPG with nice musics? Amulets&Armor. I know this thread is a...

Greatest game of all time?
Quake.
And its two expansions - especially Dissolution of Eternity.
A nice, very playable weird bird?
Medievil.
By the way: David, is this website a brainchild of yours?
It's very polished and usable!

Re: Dungeon Kingdom & Thanks
PS. welcome to the forum Alberto! 8-) Thank you! Well, the nice thing about DK demo is its replayability - I play it several times a day. When I find a graphics glitch or some element that I think should be designed differently, I take a screenshot, I put some "red tape" where I think the...

Thanks for the warm welcome! Yes, you're right: Kanda&co need to let the people see - and hear... - the human beings behind Dungeon Kingdom. Sadly, I learned about GOAT crowdfunding - and GOAT itself! - much later, while digging through old news on Rock Paper Shotgun. I have to say that since th...

Re: Dungeon Kingdom & Thanks
Hi everybody, I'm Alberto. Lately I've been testing Dungeon Kingdom - lot of fun! I originally became interested in Dungeon Kingdom because of GOAT - one of the first messages I wrote to Kanda was about how DK, together with GOAT, was making me change my mind about Unity. I've never been a great fan...
