Sounds fun, but it would make level design a lot more complicated.
I agree the jumping could use a bit of finesse, but rather than adding a super jump, you could probably fix it with just better edge detection. Tilo does climb, after all! It just needs to be worked a bit.

A neat trick might be you can only disable them with something heavy enough to make noise (like a bottle).
That way you could choose if you want to deal with the trap, or deal with some nasty lurking around the corner.

Yeah, this issue really bothered me when I played. It made me not want to change clothes too much - though sometimes you're forced to. Another option would be to have your health change as a percentage when you change clothes, so if you had 9 bars over-all, with only 6 of them filled, going back to ...

I actually want to say this is really a bad idea. I feel like it would take away so much from the atmosphere of the game. Takedowns? Magic? Bioshock? You're a tiny bard.
