Fan Art - The Drop

I just had to make more fan art. :D It's a lot of fun making these, and I learn a lot about digital painting when I make them. It's also great to show appreciation for a game I love. http://media.moddb.com/images/members/1/222/221868/TiloDungeon-ForumPreview.png I started this around May but then go...

Re: Jailbreak too hard

You may be missing an element that is causing you issues. I know you're only having issues with the 2nd guard but I will give a full walk-through for anyone who wants to read how to finish this quest. Here's what you may try for each guard: 1) When you sneak/crouch near the sleeping guard, stop movi...

Re: Tilo Must Be So Embarrassed!

Hey - I just checked and the save actually reverted back to normal - Tilo had his hood and there was nothing weird about it, it seems. If you still need the save I can send it, but I don't think there's anything to see. I'm not a game programmer but I think the issue has to do with quicksaving and l...

Tilo Must Be So Embarrassed!

http://i.imgur.com/dRH2BsO.png So I've been playing the latest updates and I've been enjoying it - but I found a few new bugs and actually ran into two strange ones at the same time. In the garden area with the scarecrow, you can move through the wall on the side, as seen in the video below. Video ...

Thanks for the comments!

As for how I make art like this - I can't put out any kind of comprehensive tutorial, but I will say that I learned a lot from Aaron Blaise's art videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZ5ulFxA-eA :)

More fan art! This time of Tilo.

I've made fan art of Tilo this time. Most of it was done by hand with custom Photoshop brushes I made. I used some photos for some small things like texturing the clothing. My tools were Photoshop, Analog Efex Pro 2, and a small Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet. I was going to include a visible fire in the p...

Will there be an official soundtrack release?

I might have recorded the game's soundtrack for myself and I may have been listening to it. I think Jeremiah Pena did a wonderful job, I especially like the music you hear when you first enter the courtyard.

So, is there a possibility of an official soundtrack release in the future?

Re: Steam Game Awards - Fall sales 2016

I nominated GoaT for The “I Thought This Game Was Cool Before It Won An Award” Award.

Technically it doesn't apply but I think GoaT is going to become more popular when it fully releases.

Wow, Boolean, That's fantastic! I first saw the artwork when Seith retweeted it, but it's great to see it at high resolution, and to see the research you did. Do you mind if we repost it on our Facebook page, with a credit? Thank you! FN Thank you! You can certainly put it on Facebook. You could cr...

Silas Fanart

I've been working on this for the past few days and I think it's finally done. I drew a portrait of Silas. His look here draws references from both the in-game version of him and the little character portrait you see when you talk to him. I always thought he was a cool character - I'm not sure if he...

Re: Screenshot Thread

Thanks Boolean. :) It really helps when you have such an interesting and good looking world to run around in, like Ghost has. I don't really do any photography (besides a few random pics here and there), but i have run a game screenshot blog for the last 6 years ( http://www.digifront.net if you're...

Camera Mode

Not necessarily the same as a HUD toggle. Some games like Tearaway have a "camera" mode which lets you take game screenshots without the HUD and stuff, but they also do additional things like add additional graphical improvements like better AA, higher-quality DOF, and photo filters. It's kind of li...

Re: What / Who made you buy this game ?

I saw the early alpha trailer a while back and have been lightly keeping up with development of this game ever since. Every couple of months/weeks I would drop by the website and check out the development updates. Then the Early Access version was announced to be released in a day or so and I greatl...

Re: Costume Health Amount Issue and Solution

Also, question about sleep: Does sleep ever *completely* restore health? Doe the hours slept factor in to how much is restored? I slept for 23 hours while Tilo was at 1/2 health, and there was till a bit of health left that had not been restored. But it was maybe 90% full, so the day of sleep resto...

Re: Thoughts on the current stealth system

I have some thoughts on this. I like the idea of a separate indication that you are in their sight. I think just having a little eye symbol appear in or just outside of the stealth meter should be enough indication that you're being watched. Also, I dislike how the stealth meter can move to the edge...

Re: [Possible Spoiler] Where the heck is Faust?

There are two areas where you need to avoid leeches in the sewers. One is a tall room with pillars, and the other area is the narrow corridors with poisonous mushrooms. Go to the corridors and find the brick ramp that leads to a dead-end. Equip a lantern or candle and note that you can rotate the me...

Re: [Bug] Full Screen not working in 1.63

I have a similar issue. When I play the game in fullscreen, it's off-center. I cannot see 1/4th of the game on the right side, and about 1/4th on the left is just blank unused space. Alt-tabbing out of the game and then coming back corrects the issue. I have a GTX 660 video card, Windows 7 64bit, an...

Tricky Location Challenge

I've done just about everything in the Early Access version of the game so I decided to have some fun platforming. I thought it would be interesting to have a "challenge" where you have to try to reach locations or do difficult things I or other posters have reached. If you can reach these locations...

Re: Bear trap interaction

It looks like the ability to trigger the traps with thrown items has been implemented, because throwing sticks at them would set them off for me.

EDIT: Apparently not being able to trigger traps was a bug, and it has been fixed.

Costume Health Amount Issue and Solution

I noticed when you wear the full thief costume set, your health cap is raised. Unfortunately, eating food to fill up your health is a bit wasteful because wearing a full costume can prevent you from properly talking to NPCs sometimes - and if you remove the costume you lose that extra health you may...

Toggleable First-Person View when standing still

Just thought it would be neat to be able to look around in first-person only when you stand still. It would be similar to the Metal Gear Solid games or The Legend of Zelda. I thought this would be useful because it could help the player get a better view of the environment sometimes. There were time...
