There is, but at the moment it requires you to meet a certain character before you're allowed to sleep on a bed. It's a good point you're bringing up though. Food for thoughts.

It's a good idea, however the game is definitely not going to be a full-on action game where you can fight bosses fairly regularly. You guys have the right idea. The important thing to remember is Tilo is definitely NOT a warrior. Very good question. No need to worry though; in the case of GoaT (I can't speak for other indies) the only thing it means is the game cannot be released on any other console before Xbox One.

This agreement does not affect the game's PC release in any way (I made sure of that).

Re: Possible Console Version?

Hi Scrustle! Well it's a bit early to promise anything in that regard of course, but it seems indeed very likely that the game will also see a release on consoles at some point...

Re: Mouse heroes! Can you recognize all of them?

Excellent references, Raggon! This is of course Algernon the mouse (and Charlie Gordon), in an adaptation based on " Flowers for Algernon " by Daniel Keyes. A book which is probably one of the most devastatingly humane "science-fiction" story ever written. I dare anyone not to be...

Re: Oculus Rift Support

It's a valid suggestion, Fluke. However as Monixe said it's not really a priority for now. Also, I have to say I am EXTREMELY sensitive to motion sickness. And after having read a lot of articles and impressions regarding the Oculus Rift, I am unfortunately 99% certain that (at least for me) to try ...

Re: So um.. where is everyone?

As stated earlier, it may be true that these forums are not overcrowded, but on the other hand the people who do come around seem all very nice! @EvilKingGumby: I do spend all my days gazing outside; then again there are plenty of little elves that develop the game at night while I'm asleep. So it's...

Re: Humans

Very thoughtful thread I must say. I can't enter into any details regarding the story, but suffice to say that you will not encounter any human beings in the game.

Re: Mouse heroes! Can you recognize all of them?

Lemme play, lemme play! Here are my propositions: Number 1: Jerry (from the cartoon "Tom & Jerry"). Number 2: Pinky and The Brain (from the eponymous TV series). Number 3: Mickey Mouse (I'm told he's vaguely famous). Number 4: Danger Mouse (and the always brave Ernest). Number 5: Might...

Re: Share your art, fiction, music, inspired by Ghost of a T

Poor David! He's right, it's supposed to be an ash branch (although to be honest it's bit difficult to see it in the video). But the buds could be darker, yes. I redid the model anyway, so it's a bit more readable now. Great job Seylyn! Really nice. He does feel a bit "chunky" around the w...

Re: In Game Dialogue

At this point I haven't taken any decision yet but as David was saying I am leaning towards written dialogs (with maybe some vocalization a la "Banjo & Kazooie" on Nintendo64). There will be reading involved, that's a given (after all there was some reading to convey the story even in ...

Re: The Lute!

All terrific ideas! I love them, let's make one game for each of them... :) Seriously I really appreciate that sort of input, thank you very much! Unfortunately I can confirm that the mouse, in fact, will NOT play "Stairway to Heaven" in the game. I know, I know, it's very disappointing bu...

Re: Should the Game Feature Seasons?

Seasons would be great indeed. Although to be honest I don't think they will play a big role in the game since there is a unity (no pun intended) of time and action (everything happens on the island) and the island is not quite big enough to warrant differing climates. But I really like the idea of ...

Re: Implement tides

Nice idea! It's just that it might be a little too ambitious for the game at this point (I think they didn't implement tides even in Skyrim). But we'll see. In any case, never censor yourselves about the scope of your suggestions; the burden is on us to determine their feasibility. As to swimming an...
