Re: Early Access: to play or not to play?
When I reached the courtyard, it did cross my mind to stop playing and wait, but I just fell in love with the game so much, I continued on. What I will say is that once you've thoroughly explored the game and you have a solid grasp of where everything is, you'll find that you can do a run through of...

Re: Wandering ranger boots! (Steam 1.49)
Yep. The strange object placement seem to be encoded into the save game. I've PM'd you a link to the save.cosmogonies wrote:Did that still happen when you restart the game ?
If so yes, I would love to see your save file ^^.

Re: Thoughts on the current stealth system
I'll have to agree with what's been said about ignoring stealth and just sprinting about. I was just trying to figure something earlier, and just threw caution to the wind and started running past all the guards. Once you have an idea where you can hide, it's just easier to run all over the place an...

Wandering ranger boots! (Steam 1.49)
Seems like the ranger boots decided to go for a walk ;) I found them in the corridor directly below the location they should have been in (screenshot attached). When I checked, all of the other items in the war room (the key, guard armour, fate cards etc) were also missing, so it's either some Bedkn...

Re: A couple of bugs (Steam 1.32)
Can't open maps. I just got some maps from Rolo and I seem to be unable to open them. Every time I try, they seem to appear for a fraction of a second and disappear. The sound plays as it should. Reloading didn't work. Restarting the game (ok, I'm now on V1.49  ) didn't solve the issue. Just...

Re: A couple of bugs (Steam 1.32)
Just had the key problem happen again, so while it seems an uncommon issue, it wasn't a one-time problem.

Re: Night to day..
I found that to be very immersive. coming in to the night as a mouse, not knowing where to go or were to hide and suddenly being chased by 4 or 5 guards :D Heheh :) I guess I just prefer to have a good idea of where I can run to and hide first! I guess the problem is not being able to sleep to chan...

A couple of bugs (Steam 1.32)
Was playing a new game and got to the begging door. I threw a bottle at the key, but after it fell to the floor I couldn't pick it up. If you turn all of the sound volume sliders to zero, some sound effects (menu selection noises, some sounds when talking to an NPC) still play. <edit> Just came acro...

Re: Night to day..
The problem is that if you emerge from the prison into the courtyard for the first time and it's night, you get a very poor sense of where things are, and it makes any initial exploration of that area very tough. As for being chased, I get what you're saying (though your lantern/candle range seems e...

And typically, the next time I loaded up the game, within a few minutes I was at the character you need to speak to before sleeping

Re: Feedback (Steam build)
Before I forget, I was wandering around waiting for the time to change to daytime, and once it did I went back to Gustos cell. Gusto disappeared, though Fatele was still there and conversations carried on as normal. Now, I've just gone back again after deciding whether to take the spyglass back, and...

Night to day..
I can't figure this out so I'll have to ask (as I don't know if I'm just missing something or if it's a bug. How do you get back to daytime? I'm in the courtyard and wanting to talk to Gusto, but in my current game it's night, and I'm not sure if I've just not done something yet, if day/night is on ...

Feedback (Steam build)
Steam Build 1.04 (is this not as current as the GOG version - wondering due to v1.30 being mentioned). First off, wow! I absolutely love the feel of this. I don't think I'd grasped before how much of an adventure/rpg feel there would be to it. The conversation with the Pirate Frog gave me a genuine ...

Re: Oculus Rift Support
Thanks for the replies :) I'd certainly agree it isn't a priority at all, but it's nice to know that it could at least be a possibility in the future. I'd certainly recommend having a go on a Rift if you get the opportunity though. It's one of those things where you really can't imagine what it look...

Oculus Rift Support
Well, I'll say it since I don't think anyone else has mentioned it yet. Have you considered Oculus Rift support? There have been enough tech demos/driver hacks now to show that VR doesn't have to be limited to a first person view. While there are certainly design decisions to consider, Unity integra...
