Any hints?
I mean the chest in the small corner room in the south east tower, where the Guard stands in front of the fireplace.

Maybe it's outside of castle Diluin?
Which brings the next question: Which is the trigger to open the main-entrance?

I think I remember that the key for the war room chest is in the same room. It may be on the guard, in one of the cabinets, or on the table.

As for the main entrance: If you mean the portcullis gate that closes when you get near it - I don't think there's any way to open it manually.

I will hav a even closer look again. I started playing on release day. Maybe it's a bug, that the key isn't there. But I will try again and report here.

edit: Yes I found it.
Since it's directly besides the candles I'm pretty sure, it wasn't there the first time I entered that cabinet upperside.

But there's another key question. Who has the key for the dynamite room of the armory?
